About the role:
We are seeking Branch Managers - Forex Operations with Niyo Forex to join our team. This role would be based out of regional Forex Cash sale & service branches for our forex cash, remittance and other service operations for respective city.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all cash handling procedures, including buying and selling foreign currencies, daily cash reconciliations, vault management, and ensuring accurate inventory of multiple currencies.
- Monitor real-time cash orders via app/web and retail customers and their delivery TAT.
- Ensure full compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) regulations, Know Your Customer (KYC) protocols, central bank guidelines, and other relevant financial laws.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by resolving queries, handling complaints, and building long-term client relationships.
- Drive branch profitability by meeting or exceeding sales targets for currency exchange, wire transfers, prepaid cards, and related services.
- Conduct daily opening and closing procedures, maintain branch security (CCTV, alarms, safe custody), and safeguard assets including cash and valuables.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly reports on transactions, cash positions, profits, and audit compliance.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to counterfeit currency, fraud, and operational errors.
- Collaborate with head office on stock replenishment, rate updates, marketing initiatives, and promotional activities.
- Promote additional services such as travel insurance, international remittance services, or travel cards to upsell/cross sell and increase revenue.
- Handle administrative tasks, including maintaining records, stationery stock, and branch upkeep.
- Lead and manage branch staff, including recruitment interviews, training, performance evaluations, scheduling, and motivation to achieve sales and service goals.
Required Skills and Expertise:
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree. Any accounting degree or certificate preferred.
- Excellent communication with ability to manage team as well as customers.
- Hands on experience with billing tools, data analysis, team rostering and P&L.
